The OctoWS2811 Adaptor Board is designed to connect Teensy 3.2 to Teensy 4.1 development boards to LED strips using the OctoWS2811 Library. The board has a 74HCT245 buffer chip and 100-ohm impedance matching resistors for improved signal quality, and it is connected to LED strips using CAT6 Ethernet cable. The adaptor board has RJ-45 network jacks for easy disconnection from the electronics.

The Teensy 3.x board can be added to the adaptor board using stacking header pins or a header and socket pair, and it can also be used with the larger Teensy 3.5, 3.6, and 4.1 boards using double insulator pins and sockets.

The adaptor board is designed to fit inside a Cable Guard 500 Coax Demarcation Enclosure, which is a durable enclosure meant for outdoor use with dimensions of approximately 6.5 by 8 inches (16.5 by 20.3 cm). The adaptor board comes with self-threading screws that fit the mounting posts on the Cable Guard 500 enclosure.
