The PT2272-M2 is a CMOS 12-bit remote control decoder, designed for wireless applications such as home automation, security systems, and remote controls. It pairs with the PT2262 encoder to receive encoded address and data signals via RF or infrared transmission. Operating within a voltage range of 4V to 15V, the PT2272-M2 ensures robust signal reception and high noise immunity. It includes an oscillator circuit, which requires only an external resistor to set the operating frequency. The Valid Transmission (VT) output pin goes high upon successful reception of matching address codes, confirming valid data transmission.
