The SCP5500 is a high‑current, SAPBUS‑powered active DC/AC current probe in Siglent’s SCP5000 series. Featuring a bandwidth of DC to 2 MHz and a rise time ≤ 175 ns, it accurately captures fast current transients. The probe supports continuous currents up to 500 ArMS and peak currents up to 750 A, with dual sensitivity ranges of 75 A (0.1 V/A) and 500 A (0.01 V/A). It achieves high measurement fidelity with a DC accuracy of ±1% ±10 mA at 75 A and ±1% ±100 mA at 500 A. Designed with a conductor jaw size of up to 20 mm, it integrates seamlessly with compatible oscilloscopes via the SAPBUS interface, requiring no external power. The compact probe head weighs approximately 475 g and includes features like automatic zero setting and overload pop‑up protection.
